Why invite-only for product work?
Because product design only works when the designers can say no. The studio keeps its slate deliberately short, so every decision, down to a toast message, is made by hands accountable for the whole.
Design only, or design and build?
Both, and that is the point: decisions live in the build. Handing sketches to another team re-opens every settled argument, so we carry the product to a working build ourselves.
What kinds of products do you take?
Small, sharp ones with a real user on the other end: tools, calculators, portals and engines. The group's own ventures are the template: designed and built by the same hands.
